A self-drive audio guide with no fixed route. Pick the places you like on the map, drive your own way, and the story of each place starts by itself as you reach it. On the long stretches between places the podcast keeps you company.
❄️ Take a warm layer. Up in the mountains it is often 5–10 °C colder than in Sydney.
📍 How it works
Allow location access. The guide needs GPS to know which place you are passing.
Press Start Audio Tour before you pull out. The phone can stay in its cradle; the audio plays through the car speakers over Bluetooth.
Navigate on any card opens Google Maps with directions to that place. The guide keeps talking while Google leads the way — mute Google’s voice if you like.

ℹ️ Good to know
🚘 Android Auto on a cable: pause and play from the player on the car’s screen. On some cars the steering wheel’s mute button only silences the speakers and the guide keeps talking. Over Bluetooth the same button pauses the guide.
Victoria Pass is closed until 2027. The Great Western Highway below Mount Victoria is shut; traffic to Hartley and Lithgow goes over the Darling Causeway and Bells Line of Road.
Mobile coverage is patchy in parts of the mountains. Keep the guide running: it carries on when the signal returns.
🔑 Your link, not your phone. The access link works on one device at a time — whichever opened it last.
🔴 Red R, next to day/night: resets which places you have already heard, so the whole guide plays again from the start — for another day or a second trip. Works in the full version.
